This overdone monstrosity was commissioned by Pandez Panda. It's 18"x9"x11", took about a hundred stems to make, and I wasn't quite able to get it as sturdy as I wanted to. Next time, I'm going to wait until I have a ruler.
But then, I never really claimed that non-organic things were my forte. :/

Nope, it's a police box! In the TV show Doctor Who, it's a time machine called a TARDIS.

Close, but no cigar! In England they had Police Boxes which policemen would stuff a criminal they had caught into, and then use the small phone built into the side to call the station, who would then come pick them both up.

Police box, they are different than phone booths, but they look a bit alike... I don't think police boxes are even used anymore, so pretty much everyone associates them with the sci-fi Doctor Who.

Oh, I don't know. What you have here seems to me like an admirable skeleton. Sturdiness does get to be an issue though the larger you build, especially when you only use singular stems. It can help a lot to build with pieces consisting of two or three stems twisted together for extra support.

You could also fix the sturdiness issue by weaving stems and filling in the skeleton, but that probably would require an additional 100 stems.
